Remember, it's okay to ask for help! Around half of US adolescents have a mental disorder, so don't feel ashamed or embarrassed to admit it to yourself (source). If you are in immediate danger, please call 988 or any of these hotlines. This resource page doesn't have nearly all of the resources availible, but we try to update it often.

NAMI is designed for talking about sensitive topics with empathy, understanding and support. It is also a good referral line to connect you with more local resources.

The MHA organization is a giant hub of resources for mental health, including but not limited to, their immediate response resources, connections page (chat rooms, phone lines, etc.), and depression information page.

This is an extremely easy way to find therapists close to you all across the USA. It lists TONS of therapists with detailed accounts of all of them including specialties, location, reviews, and prices.

CIMHD is a free 8 session interactive therapy program for depression, where you learn how to monitor, manage, and improve your mental health.

Soluna is a great mobile app for mental health and has forums (for venting and advice) AND 1 on 1 coaching sessions with pros. Highly recommend it!

Q-Chat is a collection of scheduled chat rooms for LGBTQ+ youth, for free, with great mods and people to chat with anonymously!

SAMHSA, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, is an official US organization with lots of resources for all sorts of scenarios.

This is a SDUSD website with calming activities like yoga, live zoo cams, coloring, etc. It has lots of online and IRL things to try out that can help relieve stress.

Immersive and calming music app for sleep or meditation.

SDUSD's collection of LGBTQ+ resources, including school-official gender/name change forms.

The Trevor project is a well known organization dedicated to helping LGBTQ+ youth. Call: 1-866-488-7386, Text: TREVOR to 1-202-304-1200

The Childhelp National Child Abuse Hotline has counselors who provide support, coping resources, and crisis counseling to abused children and anyone wanting more knowledge on what to do. Call/text: 800-422-4453

The NDVH is a hotline which helps people in abusive relationships, families, etc. There is a live chat directly on their website to talk.

This international aid group supports individuals affected by a loved one's alcoholism.

Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship helping members stay sober throughout San Diego through a 12-step program.

American Lung Association provides resources and coaching for those with lung cancer and those overcoming tobacco addiction.

This free program helps Californians quit smoking, vaping, and tobacco usage. Easily call or message a coach to get started.

CADFY is a non-profit that collaborates with schools, organizations, and parents to prevent substance abuse in youth.

Provides substance abuse treatment and recovery programs for a low price for youth and adults throughout San Diego County. Services include: telehealth, education, intervention and outreach, outpatient treatment, residential care (short and long term), and aftercare.

It's Up To Us is a website with multiple other resources specific to San Diego and it is geared towards everyone in the area.
